Living Will :: Florida Estate Planning Lawyer Blog
A living will comes up in Florida as much as it does in Kentucky. One important thing in Kentucky to think about is when should you make sure your will is current? An example if you are married, have a divorced son whose ex wife has custody of your only grandchild, then you might need to be thinking about how your will needs to be if both grandparents were killed in the same car wreck. I have a good friend whose only daughter was killed by a drunk driver and left underage children he will now have to raise. His will changed that day in effect for real practical reasons. If a will has been in the drawer for years at least you have one, but if things have changed in your life or the folks you wanted to leave things to, your best chance to do it right is to go to your lawyer that does your family business you trust like I go to Randy Teague locally, and make sure its current. and on file.
