I spent yesterday touring Hopkins County cemetery sites to show respect like my family has done for years to all the loved ones in memory and all of the relatives who served our country so well. I sent this link in an email because its important we not forget. I always visit the grave sites of my family, my friends, and coworkers because they mean something to me still. It is a time of remembering Mom putting flowers on her mother's monument, and our family repeating it yesterday. Of trips where Uncle Buford would tell me stories about the folks he knew under various monuments, or my scraping grass clippings hiding a veteran's brass foot marker date away so it could be in the sun again.
